Thrift Stores

My dear readers, you DO shop at the thrift stores, don't you? Designer label clothes, furniture, decorating items, and all at such low prices you feel like a thief. Goodwill, Salvation Army, the church-sponsored thrift stores all have a lot of good stuff. Salvation Army has all their clothes half-price (of the already super-low price) on Wednesday. I've spent a lifetime shopping bargains and clothes in the traditional stores are so expensive for cheaply-made items that a thrift store is the only way to go. Be brave if you've never shopped a thrift store. Stop, go in and look around. You'll be surprised what you'll get for a very little money.

  1. I love thrift stores!! And I especially love how you said, "you DO shop at the thrift stores, don't you?" For a moment I panicked, thinking have I been an idiot and shopped at any regular stores? But then, I sighed with relief when I realized I am a thrift store DIVA. This is a very good post Granny. May all shoppers everywhere get to experience the thrill of getting something for almost nothing!
